Swin cash and ruth riley have to step up. 11mins 0pts for Swin cash tonight and I dont know Ruth's statline but its pretty pathetic aswell. What ever happent to when ruth used her post game now all you do is seeing her take jumpshots what is she the knew sheed or something? And Kara Braxton man this girl can make some dumb plays just get the ball and throws it wishing someone catches it. When I was in elementary school I played PG as I do now and I did the same thing come down dribble the ball and get nervous and just throw crazy passes hoping my teammate catch it. I was just nervous and it seems like Kara is doing the same thing just calm down let the game comes to you and be patient, she plays so well when shes under control. Get it together for game 2 ladies dang.

Ruth has not done much since the 2003 season.

As for Swin, her career may be in danger of becoming like that of Bill Walton, another talented player who could never quite overcome injuries and ended up pretty much a role player towards the end.

Kara, Kara, Kara...she has a lot of potential, but her results are inconsistent at best. For every promising game she has, she seems to have at least a couple of horrible games.

Hopefully the Shock can get it together, win tonight, and go on the road even in the series. It is so hard to figure this team out anymore, sometimes they look like champions, other times they look like a last place team.

All ruth has to do is get her ass back into the post show that she is a post player. Its a shame to see Swin cash and Katie Smith post up more then ruth. And Kara idk whats up with her this year shes thinking too much or not thinking at all. She just gets the ball and throws it hoping someone catches it and that turns into turnovers. One person who has been nice for us off the bench and should get more pt is elaine powell. Yeah she hasnt scored much but she has been great getting steals and all that just providing defensive energy.

You know what Swin's problem really is, right? It's Deanna and Cheryl. Remember the MVP talk Deanna got last year. Her role grew with Swin gone and then this year Cheryl surprises us with her great scoring to go along with everything else. I still believe in Swin. In my mind, it's pretty much a given that Detroit wins after Swin has a bad game because she always comes through. She was named the captain in 03 for a reason and remains the captain for that reason. All great players rebound from bad games. Swin's injury just keeps her from minimizing bad games.

All we need now is for ALL our players to play with heart and energy for the full 40 minutes. Sac is tough but there's no team better than the Shock when they wanna play.
