It's my fault Ruth hasn't been playing good lately. I've been keeping her up at some nights. I'll let her rest for now.

^^That's the problem, this team has soo many mental lapses, it's ridiculous. This series should be over in 4. This team can't stay consistent and SAC is just too good, especially at home. They need to get their shit together...

You guys think Bill has a point? Detroit Shock is the 2nd best defensive team in the league. How can they play when they are so cautious because of the refereeing? It's hard to concentrate and get their game going.

I've always liked Nolan shooting the ball. It's so sweet. She started hot but unfortunately, she had to stay in the bench because of early 2 fouls.

Turnovers and defensive lapses caused them to fall behind but managed to come back and take the lead at half time. Their bench is giving some quality minutes. And I think, Nolan's foul trouble is kinda blessing in disguise. It just unleashed Katie Smith on the offensive end.

I hope they could maintain this good team play and survive this game.

Game 5, BABY!!!!

Man, that was vintage Katie Smith!!!

Great contribution from the bench. They, again, showed why they are a top defensive team in the WNBA. Loved that attitude by Pierson after the block. They shouldn't let go of Kara Braxton. She always shows glimpses of something great in the future. She can run and has a nice footwork for a player her size. I loved that drive by Nolan.

I hope they win the championship.

I agree completely, Yugi. Great game, great effort which is what we need to win. If we play with that kind of effort, there is no way we lose. Go Shock!

Again, it all depends on how they play. Early in game 4, they made some mental lapses - causing turnovers and unable to provide help defense.

ANd also, I've noticed, the Monarchs double and sometimes triple team whoever gets the ball in the low post. I just hope they can continue on passing the ball and make those open shots. And getting their bigs in foul trouble would help greatly too.
