There is no doubt that Deron is a great point guard but I think Dee can help open him up some and take the focus off Deron. The two really dominated in Illinois and I think they can do the same thing in Utah. I think with the addition of Brewer and Fisher coming onboard the Jazz are headed in the right direction.

I couldnt agree more.. The 2 of them together are like salt and pepper.. Here's to hoping the Jazz have a great season.. Maybe even Roger will make the team..

I'm not sure the success will be there as it was in college, but either way it wil be fun to watch.I was happy to see Dee go to the Jazz. That was a great Illinois team to watch, especially as a Big ten fan.

I actually don't think dee brown was really that good in college. I think the reason he was sooo hot when they went to the championship game was because all of the guys that were around him. I mean it was luther head, deroon, etc. He had players surrounding him that just made him soooo much better. That's why I think that his stock went down soooo much because when he had to show his skill by himself he failed. Don't get me wrong, he has skills. I just think that he was too much overated because of what was around him. He is a ball hogging pg. You can get away with being a pg that ball hogs in college, but once you get to the league the players start to dislike you. The scouts understood this and thats why he went sooooo low in the draft.

I disagree with the ball hog part and feel the reason he didn't go any higher was due to his hieght, he can knock down the 3 ball but a pg should be getting more assist than points unless your playing for Philly. I do agree that Deron and Luther made Dee look better and if Dee would not have busted his foot he might of went in the first round last year, don't know. He has skill but just not tall enough to play a 2 but can defense up on teams.

We will see how and if he fits in with the Jazz, I think there is room for him.

Yea that's decent. :P He would have went lottery in my opinion. That's why I was upset when he bust his foot because I knew some of the great players in this class and how much he wasn't going to fall. I never really thought he would have went that low though. Excellent pick up for the jazz though. That's a great way to build your team's chemistry.
