TJ Ford for Charlie Villanueva=Raptors Got Robbed

I mean think about it. TJ Ford has been in the NBA longer than Charlie, but is still not as good. Maybe TJ would play better on the Raptors, but the Raptors would be capable of having the best front court in the NBA if they kept Charlie. Think about it:

C: Chris Bosh (would need to put on some meat)
PF: Andrea Bargnani (needs to learn some American basketball FAST)
SF: Charlie Villaueva (already good. he will only improve. capable of staying healthy so far)

Got robbed maybe not, because TJ is a very good PG but yes, I don't know why they did it. Raptors have Calderon and James last year but with James gone they need another PG...but Villanueva were for me the second best rookie last year and with a combo Bargnani-Villanueva-Bosh... that's a terrible team to fight and specially if Bosh put on some meat, like u said. Will see what TJ can do but Raptors lost a very important piece BUT very well recovered

Like I said in another thread they should of resigned James, drafted Morrison or Gay and kept Villenueva and their lineup would of been like this

James
Peterson
Morrison/Gay
Villanueva
Bosh

With Jones, Parker, Nesterovic, and their European PG (I forgot his name) all coming off the bench. That team would of probably been a playoffs contender.

Calderon men, also they have Jorge Garbajosa who starting on bench is doing preety amazing the minutes he played. He'll be a good role in this team...btw, James wanted too money

James wasn't going to re-sign IMO he didn't want to be there. I think they'll do just fine with TJ

Many times during the season he said he wanted to be there and he just wanted to feel a little wanted. Should of gave him a short 2-3 year contract worth about $5m a year or so.

Even though Mike James made a huge impact for the Raptors last season, I think that having T.J. Ford will be the better PG option since he's a pass-first PG which's what all PGs should strive for. Mike James pulled a Ben Wallace on them when it came to demanding more money. Although he did average 20.3 ppg, having T.J. Ford around will really spread the floor for Barganni, Garbajosa, Chris Bosh, Mo Pete, & Fred Jones to score in bunches. Even though Charlie Villanueva had a great rookie season last year, I'm somewhat glad that they got rid of him because I think that he'll be the type of NBA player who's great on some nights & will just fade away in obscurity on other nights. Also, he gets kinda lazy on the defensive end & that's not going to help Toronto at all. That's why they acquired Rasho Nesterovic for his decent interior defense & tough shot-blocking ability. He'll definitely be a better clog at C than Rafael Araujo.

With Parker,Garbajosa and Bargnani they reforced a lot the loss of CV31 and then win a excellent PG like TJ

T.J Ford only has like, 2 more years than Villaneuva. We already had an abundance of PF's and badly needed a Pg. Who got robbed?
