Raptors Reportedly To Sign Jorge Garbajosa</span>
31st May, 2006 - 12:47 am  Marca - According to a reputable Spanish website, the Raptors are in talks to sign Euroleague star Jorge Garbajosa. Garbajosa is the star of the Unicaja basketball team. It has been widely speculated that Bryan Colangelo plans on making the addition of international basketball players a priority. For those of you who don't know Jorge Garabajosa is a lenged in European Basketball. He was the MVP of his league and is one of the best players in the world not playing in the NBA. Some would argue he is the best and he should of been in the NBA a long time ago.

Until he plays an American style of game I am not going to get excited about this. I mean if he can transfer his game and make all the adjustments necissary I think this will be a good move, but the question is, will he cut it in the NBA?

Toronto you have a problem
A credible Spanish sports website is reporting that Jorge Garbajosa is choosing between Phoenix and Toronto, but has made his decision that he will be playing in the NBA next season. Suns GM Mike D'Antoni coached Garbajosa for Benneton Treviso in the Euroleague. Garbajosa had an unconfirmed deal in place with the Raptors, but Phoenix has now entered the mix.
