We got Sheffield but still need a lot more so I would like to see them stay active in free agency market and grab about 1 or 2 more good free agents that can come in and help this team win. And Amen about the basketball thing.

I'm not too suprised with the Sheffield signing because I remember reading in the ESPN magazine that somebody like Barry Bonds would help the tigers. This is a pretty similar pickup to me and I like it. Now I hope we can pickup a veteran or 2 in the bullpen to help out come playoff time. We saw how in the world series the lack of experience on the mound caused for RIDICULOUS errors.

What are you guys talking about? Ppl do want to come here for basketball. They just change their mind after they talk to Joe Dumars. :P

Hopefully Gary stays healthy. If he does then damn, what a pick up. All we need to do now is get a leadoff hitter or just move Granderson down the lineup because I don't wanna trade him.

Yea, I think with age Granderson is going to stop striking out so much. He's going to eventually learn what he needs to do (i hope).

Good Riddance. I praised Sheff as much as the next major yankee fan but dammit we need pitching. I've been furious at the pitching for years now and i'd damn near liquidate the batting for some friggin pitching already. Best of luck to ya Gary.
