Jim Hendry is a huge moron. WTF did he trade Walker away for?? We didn't get anyone decent in return for him. And why only Izturis for Mad Dog?? Aside from trying to request the Furcal's wrist be broken as well, he could've gotten more than Izturis. Hendry is a moron.

i was at the game on the 31st and could not believe that maddux was traded less than an hour before the deadline. both he and walker were at the game. i forget where i read it but the columnist is right. tribune co. needs to: sell the cubs; spend more money on the cubs; or dump baker.

I don't think the amount is an issue. It's how the money is spent. And that starts at the top. Get an owner who cares about winning like Mark Cuban.
