They're homers. I remember in 2004 when 8 Yankees went to the All-Star game, Hawk was like this is why managers should not be allowed to pick their own guys. Of course, this year 7 White Sox went, and Hawk's like we deserve it, and the rule that every team need a rep is BS.

Yea, I thought they'd have it on, but I don't get FSN. BTW, Thursday's game was on ESPN as well. Did FSN not carry that one?

Great news for Detroit fans and non White Sox fans(KirkHinrich12). White Sox falls 6 1/2 games behind us with their loss to Texas on Friday.

Are you kidding me!!?? ESPN has bias commentating as well. If you're not a Yankee or Red Sox, they don't know who you are. And Joe Morgan is an idiot. The ESPN broadcasters are morons as well.

Haha they got Rod on Fox! Man wtf is Minor doing we get a 5run lead and he gives it right back. These last two outings from Minor has really sucked for him.

IN Chicago, the game was blacked out on ESPN, b/c a local Chicago station carried the game. Last week, the Cubs-Mets game was blacked out on ESPN for the same reason, and the week before the battle of the Soxes was blacked out on ESPN as well. All 3 times, a Chicago station carried the game. You'll only get the national TV broadcast for your in-market team if a local station does not carry the game (i.e. say a local station doesn't carry a Cubs or Sox game, I'll get the national broadcast. Otherwise, I'm blacked out.) The point is, you'll be able to see the game on TV one way or the other.

Yea I was yelling at my tv. Terrible game played by minor today. Maroth needs to get back in a hurry.

OMG, are you serious?? You gotta link or something?

BTW, I know how it goes as far as the blackouts now. Thanks for clearing that up, but I don't get to watch it either way because FSN carries Tigers games and I don't get FSN. If I'm lucky, I'll catch it on WB, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Get MLB extra innings and use a proxy server or something. I'm not sure about Maroth, but I think he is.

No timetable has been released on when Maroth could return, though it's widely believed he's on track to return next month. Maroth told reporters Saturday morning he thinks he could be back in about a month. Friday was the first of at least a few simulated games; he'd likely make at least two or three starts on a Minor League rehab assignment after that. All totaled, that brings his return close to Sept. 1, when rosters expand.
