Why Hockey is good

You can plead your case and not get a technical foul.

Fighting is allowed.

The crowds are nuts.

They have the shoot out's, which means no more ties.

It's as physical as any other sport.

Alexander Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, and Evgeni Malkin are the NHL's version of Lebron, Carmello and D-Wade.

The playoffs are arguable the best of any of the sports.

Sudden death over-times.

The atmosphere at games.

Feel free 2 add to any of this if you enjoy the sport. If your from one areas of the Original 6, Im sure you shouldnt have a problem naming so more.

Because the Red Wings are the greatest team ever. Lol. But, being from around Detroit and knowing what it's like to have watched Yzerman play and what it's like to be a fan of a winning team. Plus, the atmosphere of the city is great even if your not at a game but theres something there when you go somewhere that tells you "Oh the Wings are on." And during the playoffs, almost every person in the area is watching the game SOMEWHERE. Its great IMO.

I can't get into hockey at all. I've tried. Really, I have. My problem is the puck, meaning I can't follow where the hell it is half the time. I loved it when they had it lit up on the screen, at least I could see where the hell it was. They don't do that anymore do they? I kinda understand the game, but I just can't sit and watch it....unless I'm buzzed.

Yeah, the fights are pretty cool, though. And the whole scene with people behind the glass is crazy.

I don't really watch to much hockey any more its not the same as it use to be. Hockey seems to get worse a little every year. I will always watch Team Canada but they changed the game to much.

I agree at a point the game was getting worse. It has been getting better as they work the kinks out of the new rules. And once GM's get used to this new salary cap.

Ryan Miller is an absolute stud in goal. I can only hope McDonald and/or Liv can pan at to be that good 4 my wings.

Hockey it's not only fighting, it's how u see them skating with a lot of clothes and protections in the ice, which is very hard. I love basketball, but sincerily sometimes I prefer a hockey game.

Only see Crosby,Malkin, it's fun

I think hockey is awesome but if they're not careful, indoor lacrosse may take a major step up and replace it as thee premier indoor rink sport in television.
