He is known for injuring guys, he likes to plant his little foot under guys when they go up for jumpshots and it's just pathetic that he gets away with it. David Stern so concerned about giving techs and shit out when he needs to be addressing all the dirty play and dirty players in this league (Bowen, Bell). I was glad when Isiah said something to him last night because people are seriously getting hurt over this shit, first it was VC and now it's Francis who will be out for a while. I been waiting a long time for someone to knock the shit out of Bowen and in 2005 finals haha Rip almost did, I remember Rip slapping him right in the head and ref didn't even see it. I still got that on tape I believe, I maybe need to find it and rewatch it for good times.

well alot of "good" defensive players have to player dirty to get their reputation. Bruce Bowen isnt really good at offense, so he needs all the cover he can get defensively.

There's still no excuse for DIRTY play. He's putting guys' career in danger when he does this BS. I can understand if he was agressive but he's just straight up dirty and he does it on a regular basis. I've seen guys like Artest do dirty plays but not often, he usually only pulls dirty plays during fustration. But mainly Artest is just an agressive defender he doesn't play dirty and practice it. I think it's pretty obvious that bruce bowen is basically a scrub. If he didn't play dirty and just played regular defense he would probably be horrible.

His defensive techniques are dirty. I know you're suppose to close out on the shooter but there is no reason for sticking your foot up under his feet where he is going to land knowing there is a chance he's going to sprain/roll his ankle when he lands.

I'm not even going to lie I use to be a dirty player but I have changed a lot. I changed last year when we were scrimmaging another team and the dude hit me with a elbow in the nose or something and when he went up the next time I took him out and then quickly realized thats not what the game is about and there's no room for that type of play in this game. Bowen needs to do the same thing because he's going to end someone's career one of these days when they servely (sp) injury their ankle or something. I have came down a lot of times on other people's foot and have had a lot of people come down on mines, in fact last year in PE this dude came down on my ankle and had actually broke it. The NBA needs to start fining him and shit for this because I can see if it's accidental but it seems to me like he does it on purpose. He needs to wake up and realize there's no room for this dirty shit in this game and one of these days whe someone knock his ass out he'll learn.

That's what I think the main thing is.. someone has to teach him a lesson. Beat his ass 1 time and he'll stop this.

If you pay attention he never pulls that dirty stuff on guys that he knows would whoop his ass. Like he's done it against kobe and ray allen those are guys that don't really have a fighting like character or toughness about them. I mean kobe was whooped by chris childs. Let's see bruce bowen try something like that against artest or melo, someone like that. I don't think that he would because he knows those guys don't really care about fines and suspensions and would whoop him right on the spot.

bowen is dirty. the way to teach the Spurs a lesson though isn't to take out bowen, it's to take out Duncan

I disagree, what's the purpose in risking Tim's career because of the stupidity of someone else. That just isn't fair. It's ashame that in basketball the focus is on taking out somebody (in this situation), but if you're going to do it just take out the guy that started the problem and end it. It's not right to take out anybody let alone a guy as good as Duncan, because of the stupid and dirty things bowen wants to do.

Of course Bruce Bowen is dirty. He always has been. Just go to YouTube and type in his name and you will see about a dozen videos of him playing dirty.

I'm a Rockets fan, so I hate the Spurs. But I will say that Tim Duncan is a class-act. If more players were like him, then the NBA would be more popular.
