Big Ben was close to signing with the Spurs?

Whoa, I was just watching tnt halftime show and they said Big Ben was close to signing a deal with the Spurs but after $16m he just couldn't turn that down. He would of loved to play next to Tim Duncan. Wow man, just think Parker/Manu/Bowen/Duncan/Wallace lineup, they would no doubt be the favorites to win it all. For him to turn that chance to play with San Antonio down it had to be all about the $$$.

But going to a team in your division isn't a good thing either.

I would've gone to the Spurs. There's only few players who can get championship rings in different teams.
