JV or Liriano

I know towards the end of the season Liriano got injured, but he was pitching mighty well while he could. So my question is who would you all take Verlander or Liriano? They both are very good young pitchers. I would take JV myself just because he seems like a smarter player already IMO.

Liriano. He's Johan Santana 2.0 If he didn't do what he did, Twins don't make the playoffs.

If Verlander didn't do what he did who knows where the tigers would be? I mean they already had to fill in for Maroth with Miner. What would they have done without Verlander? Espically, with some of those games Rogers and Roberson got knocked up this year. Bonderman and Verlander were probably our aces.

Yeah. He had his surgery in early November around the 6th I believe. He is going to miss the entire 2007 season because of it.
