Me I take Ray Lewis, the guy consistantly controls the middle of the field. Urlacher has had a couple "so so" years not including last year. Put it like this.... when you think of the Bears you think of good defense but when you think of the Ravens you think of Ray Lewis and good defense

deefinately Ray Lewis. However Urlacher is unbelievably underrated nowadays. I'm not sure why he has so many opposers.

Urlacher has to win something, and carry that defense before this will be a valid comparison.

Brian Urlacher.


Ray is overrated, if he is just standing near a tackle he gets credit for it. I heard he got a tackle in a game that he didnt even play in.

Brian Urlacher is in the prime of his career and is one of the top 5 defensive players in the NFL. Ray Lewis is still very good but he doesn't do anything Urlacher doesn't...Ray Lewis has lost a step.

Are you guys serious? Lost a step? Ray Lewis seems to be in on every tackle made (besides in the secondary). They have identical stats this season with both having 16 solo tackles but with Ray having a sack and Urlacher having a fumble recovery. To say that Ray has lost a step is kind of ridiculous to me. The guy should get more credit if anything I mean he pretty much led his team to a SuperBowl victory.
