doesnt try what men? he's not the leader on his team and doesnt play a key roller paper on it, Ty is a fella who apports a lot and makes a lot of job. Melo can shoot it all in his team

I pick Tayshaun because of his versatality and his all around game. If I wanted an offensive weapon then I would choose Carmelo no doubt.

IMO Tayshaun is the better defender because of his long arms he is able to block shots easier. Carmelo is no doubt the better scorer.

I agree. I don't see what makes Carmelo a better defender. He isn't faster than tayshaun, he isn't longer. That's two BIG things you need as a defender. Carmelo is a good offensive player, but the only reason he seems better on offense than tayshaun is because the offense is ran through him. I know on my profile it says Carmleo is my fav player, but I still know the game of basketball. Tayshaun would seem like a great offensive player if he didnt have all the people on his team that could score. He already has sheed, chauncey, rip, mcdyess. So that leaves him about 14 points a game. I've seen pistons games when tayshaun has had to take over. He can take over whenever he's needed, but he doesn't need to be "THE MAN" like Melo. That's why the pistons are so successful now, because they don't have any stars.

Defense doesn't always show up on the stats. Look at when we played L.A. in the finals and tayshaun played great D on kobe. Your telling me that wasn't good D because tayshaun didn't get steals and blocks? The stat sheet doesn't always show the type of defense you have. For example, tayshaun can be a part of a steal by knocking the ball away, but if chauncey picks up that loose ball the steal goes to him.

he has good defence. I never said he didnt. Carmelos' is just better.

Exactly. If tayshaun was put in the position to be the man he would look just as good as melo.

So now, defense doesn't mean anything? Besides, in DEN Carmelo has to take on the much much bigger scoring role. In Detroit, they had a sort of share the wealth type of lineup, so Prince doesn't need to score as much to win games.

if you look at the stat sheet, Carmelo has better defense. and dont try saying Melo's defense isnt better, because nothing is wrong. all the stats are 100% true.
