Who's better? I made this comparison for the fact that they were both former street ballers & they still have that playground style of play.

Jay Williams IMO by far, J-Will is a flat out better offensive player.

What makes Alston a consistent scorer? How can you be consistent in dishing? That depends on if your teammates get open or not. ;)

Yeah, it does, but if you compare their numbers, Alston has much better leadership. Also, if he stays healthy next season, and as he gets better, he's only gonna get better at everything.

Ok I disagree. J-will is a better player. The only thing he can't do like alston is handle the ball. Alston can't shoot like J-will. J-will might even be a streaky shooter, but Alston isn't a shooter at all.

Rafaer Alston IMO is the better player. Rafer Alston has stepped his game up to a level that J Will just isn't at right now in terms of leadership. He can score, pass, dribble. He is a solid point guard and would greatly benefit anyone's starting lineup.

All these things you're saying is what J-will can do as well. He can knock down the three ball, attack the basket, and he's had great court vision his whole career. So Alston probably just has him beat in 2 catagories which is dribbling and leadership. J-will has always been a head case, and IMO that's what makes him a bad leader.

I agree.

You guys are saying he's suchhhhh a great leader well prove this to me. What has he done to make himself a leader? Is that why he was quitting in toronto? IMO if it wasn't for J-will the heat might not have even won the finals. He's the one that stepped up game 6 vs detroit. He was the one that decided he was going to be a leader. Yes he's had some problems, but at the same time you can't tell me that's not leadership.

Since so many of you like to compare stats look at their numbers on nba.cm and tell me that they haven't been consistent. They both have been "consistent" their whole career.

So don't tell me Alston has been more consistent than J-will. And as some of you love to say: "the numbers don't lie"

^ I agree. White Chocalate has stepped up for Miami in clutch spots, sparking rallies. And TheFamily24, I'm the one who says the numbers don't lie.
