East Valley Tribune - Amare Stoudemire had an excellent practice on Sunday, his best since the team left the States, to cap a week in which he didn't practice on Thursday and sat out the Suns' game on Friday.

?We?ve got a lot of wild swings going on with Amar? right now, but Sunday was a positive,? D?Antoni said. ?He said he felt good and he looked like he was moving better. Now we?re looking for some consistency in practice, for him to string together good days and build on the positives.?

D?Antoni said if Stoudemire has similar results in practice on Monday, he will play in Tuesday?s game against the Philadelphia 76ers .

Stoudemire Likely For 76ers

Arizona Republic - After Suns coach Mike D'Antoni benched Amare Stoudemire in Phoenix's preseason debut after the power forward sat out two of four practices, Stoudemire has reacted with resounding aplomb on the court.

It likely will allow him to play as Phoenix takes on Philadelphia at noon today on the first day of the NBA Europe Live, a two-day, four-team tourney with Maccabi Tel Aviv and CSKA Moscow.

"The last two days have been great," D'Antoni said. "If he keeps doing that, he should be 100 percent by the time the season starts."

i think he might have been faking his injury. if he sais he feels good and has a good practice, then he can play.
