The Transformers Movie

I can't wait to see them in the movie!!!! I really liked them when I was a kid. The only thing I don't like about the whole thing is that the Autobots are too nice. The Decepticons have Megatron, their bad ass leader, but they have Starscream also who is a renegade. If only the Autobots have someone like Wolverine of the X-Men, they would surely have a better following.

Here's a preview of the movie, not much promise but I'm hoping it would be a good movie.

Sorry. I think it was definitely a guy thing when I was a kid. I remember the cartoon though and the actual toy itself. I babysat a couple of boys who had them and they were always sticking them in my face, "Look! Look! See my transformer? It changes! Look! Look!"

I don't get why we need all these gimmick movies nowadays. Why the fuck can't they just make a new legit blockbuster? It's either some StarWars 6th move, or so comicbook superhero shit like batman and superman that people get their pantys in a bunch over even though in reality and minus the hype..it's nothing but a mediocore movie. It's starting to piss me off.

I saw Little Miss Sunshine this weekend though and it was a dose of fresh air.

Wanna see my transformer? It changes too, it grows and lengthens with just a few manipulations.

You have a point. Lately, I've noticed movies being made from comic books (Ultraviolet, Ghost Rider - coming up with Nicholas Cage, etc), video games (Silent Hill, Doom, Resident Evil, etc) and remakes of old movies (Poseidon Adventure, War of the Worlds, etc.) and not much good original movies being made.

As for gimmicks, well, they want to get people interested and talk about it even before the movie comes out. The more interest, the more people may watch and that is $$$$.

One movie I'm really, really excited about is the next Spiderman movie.

I like "exciteder". It sounds like something I would say. It must be that '989' connection, hey Ed?
