Ex-Bull Pargo Joins Chandler In New Orleans

ESPN - Another Bull is headed for the Big Easy, with Jannero Pargo agreeing to a two-year, $2.1 million deal with the New Orleans Hornets on Thursday, his agent, Mark Bartelstein, told ESPN.com.

Bartelstein said that Pargo has a player option for the second year of the contract.

Pargo joins another ex-Bull Tyson Chandler, who was traded by Chicago to the Hornets for forward P.J. Brown and guard J.R. Smith earlier in the summer. Smith was then traded onto Denver after spending less than a week with the team.

Pargo is set to provide insurance for the Hornets starting point guard Chris Paul and recently signed backup Bobby Jackson at the point.

I agree, they are gonna get in with a shit seed. Teams like the Lakers better step their game up if they wanna hold on to being a playoff team. Teams are passing them.

I love Pargo though. Interested to see if he gets a shot to log some minutes.

Jannero Pargo brings instant offense off the bench. If he gets regular playing time, he could become a valuable player

He makes a fairly good replacement of SClaxton. I'm not mentioning BJackson because he's going to be playing a lot of SG behind Peja.
