Who can the Nets bring in to play Power Forward next year? No secret ever since K-Mart left they have struggled to find somebody who could play that position. It's really their only weakness in the lineup.

Who are the names to look to?

Tim Thomas has been a name thrown around a lot as a possibility. He can run, dunk, and shoot from outside. He'd be a decent fit there.

He recently tried to shoot down those rumors, but you never know.

the Nets have pick 22 and 23 in the draft

players who might be avail when the nets pick:

Hilton Armstrong(UConn) 6-11 235lbs C/PF
Cedric Simmons(NC State) 6-10 235lbs PF
Tiago Splitter(Brazil) 7-0 240lbs PF
Leon Powe(Cal) 6-8 245lbs PF
Alexander Johnson(FSU) 6-10 230lbs PF
Aaron Gray(Pittsburgh) 7-0 270lbs C
Mouhamed Saer Sene(Senegal) 7-0 232lbs C

the nets could with a center and play nenad at PF

some fa's who will be avail:

Al Harrington, Nazr Mohammed, Joel Przybilla, Nene(restricted), Vladimir Radmanovic, Drew Gooden(restricted), Chris Wilcox(restricted), Reggie Evans, Tim Thomas, Keith Van Horn, Melvin Ely(restricted), Mikki Moore and Mark Jackson

so the nets will have lots of options in the draft and free agency to bulk up their frontline as well as the trade market.....

They need a bench big time. If they could get Al Harrington or Thomas they would be a contender next year for sure. At least more than this year and maybe they will get on TNT like Jefferson wants so bad.

I think Thomas will resign with Phoenix but if not thats a great place for him to go. They are in need of a bench badly and picking up two guys like Tim Thomas and someone maybe like NeNe I think they would be set. Start NeNe along with Kristic and bring Collins, Robinson and Thomas all off the bench seems like a nice plan to me.
