Any big College Basketball fans?

The NCAA season is in full swing now and was wonder if there were any college basketball fans out there, and if so what's your favorite team(s)?

I like UNC-Charlotte but that's just because my brother plays for them.

yeah i'm a huge fan...and since i'm from iowa i'm a fan of the PATHETIC iowa hawkeyes...way to lose to nortwestern state in teh ncaa tourny last year!!

I like girls basketball the best. There is a junior college a mile from my house and I go watch the girls play home games. I'm usually one of the few people watching the games! Sometimes fans for the boys games start trickling in during the last quarter, and I find that to be sad.

I mean, when I went to high school, in the 80's - nobody watched girls basketball. What's changed in the past 25 years?

I'll tell you what's changed! The game and and the skill of the girls playing! It's a faster, smarter game now.

Sure, they don't slam dunk and do showy stuff as much as the guys - but it's still a great game!

In fact - I'm going to my first game of this season tonight!

Yeah that sucks the girls don't get the repsect some of them deserve. I mean I know or have known quite a few girls in my time that can straight up ball! I'm talkin amazing handles.

But yeah a lot of people pay their money to see more flashy stuff and less basketball basics which is what most girls games I've seen are about.

Of course! Being from Kentucky I'm a huge fan of the University of Kentucky. This year doesnt look too good for them so far though. I hope they improve a little...

well it does kinda suck that nobody really pays attention to girls...really in any sport but their game is definately more about fundamentals and the basics while guys go out there showin everyone up with dunks and 3 balls

Well, our college won the game last night 87-47. It was pretty boring after the first quarter, because the other team was no match.

This year, our girls basketball team are all freshmen. The team last year was more fun to watch, but this years team seems to have more basic skills.

No one player stood out. All of the members got to play, and I'm sure the score reflected everyone making their share of points.

The boys team didn't play - only the girls.

As usual, few people showed up. I had a little girl ask me which player I was there for. I told her nobody, I just like watching the game.

I have not watched much college basketball to be honest, but I have heard good things about it.

I can pretty much get into any level of the game. My 9 year old daughter plays youth basketball and I'm into that.

I can watch boys or girls high school basketball, college or pro!

I don't really follow College basketball, always busy with work. If i do watch basketball it would have to be pro basketball. However on a few times that i do see a college game, some people just amaze me with the talent they possess.

luv iu, purdue, butler the most, but I don't really have a favorite outside of that, I just like to watch whatever's on, I really cover about 50 or so teams I guess
