I would not be surprised if I watch more TV in the month of March than all other months combined. It's because I have to watch every possible March Madness game. It's pretty disturbing.
This year, I'm thinking I need to get an HD TV and HD cable package. I figure if I'm going to be parked on my butt all month, might as well watch on a sweet HD TV right? This is the TV I'm thinking of getting: Vizio Inc. - Products - VM60P - 60" Plasma HDTV 60" plasma- how awesome is that! Or I might be nicer to my bank account and go with a 42" I still can't believe how much cheaper Vizio is than Sony or samsung. And they seem to be pretty good quality. Obviously not the BEST but I don't care enough to spend an extra grand. I seriously can't wait for the games to start!!! March is the best month EVER. I'm not a gambler but I definitely gamble on this! |

Plasmas are sweet TVs but 60" is pretty big- you gotta make sure you have enough of a viewing distance to get that. If you sit too close it's not fun.
I have a 56" Panasonic projection TV and the 42" Vizio LCD 1080p. Was this the one you were thinking? Vizio Inc. - Products - GV42LF - 42" LCD HDTV That's the one I have- got it at Costco for like $950- was a sweet deal. No problems so far, it looks great. If you're looking for a decent quality TV but still cheap, I'd say Vizio is a good choice. Don't get Insignia or Olevia though- those have problems I hear. |

Yep the LT commercials were what caught my attention too! That's why I started checking put the Vizio TVs. That's hilarious- what suckers to advertising!
If you want to see some other sweet vids of LT, they got some cool ones on their website- it's www.vizio.com/lt they're like mini documentary webisodes or something, but lots of good footage and interviews and such |

Ok now I am kind of waffling back and forth...
A friend suggested Olevia but I always thought they were like kind of a super cheap crappy brand... maybe they have gotten better though?? Does anyone know how they compare to Vizio?? Thanks! |

Olevia sucks. go for the 42" Vizio HDTV. You won't be disappointed.
Now can we actually talk about MM perhaps?? LOL It's too bad ASU was left out of the tournament this year. I think they had a great run. And how strange that the defending Florida champs aren't in it either! It's definitely going to be a fun few weeks here! I can't wait!! |
