MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Vin Baker, a former All-Star who has struggled with injuries and alcohol problems, signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday after playing eight games last season with the Los Angeles Clippers.
The veteran forward, who turns 35 next month, agreed to a nonguaranteed contract the day before training camp begins. Baker averaged 3.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 10.1 minutes last season. The four-time All-Star has spent time with six teams. The eighth pick in the 1993 draft by Milwaukee, Baker has averaged 15 points and 7.4 rebounds for his career. He was traded to Seattle in 1997 and played five seasons for the SuperSonics. I hope he'll did some good camp |
