I say atleast between 20-25 games which is pathetic IMO. People pay their damn money to see shaq and when he sits out games just to rest for the next night that pisses me off. Be a man, be a NBA Superstar and come to play every single night not just when you fucking feel like it. Missing games because of a sore thumb last year and remember he called Sacramento the Queens.

It's just ashamed. Most of the time he never even has an injury that stops him from playing. Somehow every year when it's april he's hurt. It's just ridiculous how he says he's hurt just so he can sit out and "rest."

If their year continues to go downhill do you think they are going to look at trying to get a bigman in the draft? Someone like a Gray from Pitt?

They have big men there and Shaq is not done. He just doesn't show up until playoffs time and I just think thats so wrong for the people who pay their money in November, December, and January to see Shaq and then he sits out for a bruised pinky or something. That's all I'm saying.

I think Shaq is begin lazy, and keeping the crown in suspense. After all, since he is a superstar, people would stay just to watch him play.
Maybe its just me, but I don't know....
still, not playing because he wants to "rest" or because he has a bruised pinky is a bit too....pansyish? who knows...

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone at Shaq. C'mon how can anybody acuse thee big man of the league of ducking his team just because the games aren't as important right now. He's a hall of famer with plenty of rings. One of the top 50 players of all time. He's a physical big man which has led to injuries both acute and overuse over the years. Can we get a little love for the big man?

I think his attitude towards Basketball is either give it your 100%, or don't give it any. If he isn't feeling OK, because he's given so much already to the crowd and his fans, I think the big man's entitled to some down time.

Hmm, a few good points for either side.

I think he needs to recognize that fans buy tickets, in part, to watch him play, and he should play. Every game could be his last, you know?

The paying fans in miami don't look so sad when he's hoisting an NBA championship over his head for them. Something they haven't done in years! Is it really such a what have you done for me today league? Are we that quick to forget that Shaq is one of the top 5 center's of ALL-TIME? Wow.
