Jordan Farmar

What do you think about the lakers picking up Jordan Farmar? I thought it was a good pick because he is a strong point guard who can score and would be a good back up for Smush Parker and he might even get a starting spot in the future. He definitely has the potential to be a good NBA player.

Didn't even know jordan farmar left. :o Excellent pickup for the lakers. I think he is going to take smush's spot after that peformance in the playoffs. Tough loss for UCLA though. They were going to be able to make another run for that title next year. Going to be tough now

Yeah he'll probaly take Smush's part but I dont think he'll do much better. Playing with Kobe especially in that triangle offense is tough and its even tougher when you're a rookie so I look for Farmar to struggle this season.

Well don't you think that anybody would look bad playing with kobe?! People talked about odom and how he was "struggling". It's hard to play the way you would like to when you know as soon as you take a questionable shot you are going to get chewed out by the vet/star of the team. So I don't really think that is a fair comparison. Who knows how he would do on any other team. So I try not to judge peoples game espicaly if they play with kobe. Unless they just are completely terrible (saying you judge his game).

Don't go tooo far. Everyone wants to hate parker just because of what he did in the playoffs. The same people that all of a sudden hate parker, are probably the same people that were on his jock during the regular season.

i dont think he will struggle. the Triangle offense will help him buil confidence because he'll have a lot of open shots

Farmar doesn't really have great NBA athleticism in my opinion. I think the best case scenario for him as a pro is a pretty good bench player.
