new pg?

I pick the lakers to win the championship.
pg - fisher
sg - Kobe
sf - Odom
pf - Gasol
C - Bynum

Fisher is a good player, but i think he would be a lot better coming of the bench giving lakers some energy. Fisher still can play solid D but he isnt quick enough for other western point guards. Paul, Parker, Nash, Deron williams, Baron Davis. Jason kidd is old and isnt agile as before but he can still outplay fisher. Farmar and Sasha cant play defense. Do the lakers need a new pg to win?

That is true. Bynum is their only true center. Gasol is to soft and chris mihm is injury prone plus they lost turiaf

Tyriaf was PF and I don't like him. And yeah Gasol is too skiny for Center, I mean, just look at the others - D12, Yao, Shaq, Ben, Amare, Timi D and etc. Big fat guys. They need 7-7.2 ft. Center, not so skiny cause they need player who can block in defense and get rebounds both in defense and offense.

there are times when Vujacic plays the point and is pretty effective, especially on the offensive end. But yeah, they need another point guard to relieve Fish. He's aging in dog years!

They do need another point guard, Derek Fisher is ageing while Jordan Farmar and Sasha Vujacic are not good enough defensively to start, and Vujacic is more of a shooting guard.

Adding a point guard who can create on his own will give Bryant a relief just like Mo Williams gave Lebron James.
