ok lets look at it this way.
he won all his rings with shaq....shaw went to another club and won another ring...and kobe won...wait sorry he aint got nothing. jordan was at the bulls and they won 3 straight...left to go on his baseball trip and came back and won another three just like that. there is NO comparison. im so sick of this discussion. Kobe is awesome but by continually going over this topic i feel you lessen him as a player. |

Ok, maybe some stats.
MJ: Career PPG - 30.1, FG% - 0,497 RPG - 6.2 APG - 5.3 SPG - 2.4 BPG - 0.8 With only 2.73 turnovers MPG: 38.3 Kobe: PPG: 25, FG% - 0,454 RPG: 5.3 APG: 4.6 SPG: 1.5 BPG: 0.5 With 2.9 turnovers Average playing time: 36.4 MPG All stats are from nba.com site ;p How you can say that Kobe is better than Jordan if he has worse stats? And championships too, oh and I forgot - total MVP awards (you know, that Jordan amassed most MVP's in NBA history? (season, finals, all-star games) and that they actually didn't give him more MVP's because it was boring if the same player is every year most valuable... in 90's there was only one true icon of NBA - guess who ;p) Last thing - rules. Now in NBA it's way easier for offensive players (just watch how Detroit Bad Boys tackled MJ, whole Chicago team). |

Well you can't just say that MJ is better just because he's got 5.1 more pts per game. Stats can't define how much talent that ball player has.
But then again, in my opinion, MJ will always be the best since he's a legend ![]() |

MJ will forever be regarded as the best player who ever played the game... And Kobe is not that far behind... Let's just see what can Kobe do in his next few remaining playing years in the NBA.. And after his retired let's compare his accomplishments to Michael then we can come up which is the better between the two...
