Smile No he is not

He may have been a ball hog back when he had teammates like Kwame but now that he has trusted teammates like Pau Gasol he doesn't ball hog anymore.

Kobe is a very competitive player and that's why he is what he is. If you look at Jordan, he is pretty much the same way because they are both very competitive players. If given a chance for the last shot of the game, guess who will most likely to take the shot?

Kobe is one of the best players in the NBA but it is so true that he is also one of the biggest ball hogs I have ever seen.

Default Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant can be selfish sometimes, but that is when the lakers need him to be. In Kobe younger years I must say he was a ball hog. But now since he can pick and chose his time to take over a game and hit clutch shots... I must say he has changed with maturity. Kobe had to learned to trust his team-mates... and that is why he is on his way to another championship.

I don't know about LeBron whipping Kobe Butt.... Kobe is more athletic and quicker than LeBron. LeBron is a power player, and he need to improve his Jumper and 4th quarter decision making. As I can recall, LeBron has not won anything yet.... Kobe is on his 5th ring. But I do agree LeBron will probably end up as one of the greatest to every play along with Kobe.

So was Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Micheal Jordan and some of the other great ones... they took over the game when need. The ball must be in Kobe hands late in the games.... period !

You really can't stress enough about involving team mates... that is part of the game... but when team mates don't step up the the batter box and deliver... than it's kobe time... all the great ones do it.... remember Micheal Jordan was considered a ball hog... but he won 6 titles and probably should've won 8 straight... if he didn't leave for two years... so I guess the argument can go for every.

I agree with you that defense wins championships.. and Kobe do play defense. I watched Kobe last night agaist Denver and I saw something different besides a ball hog.... He had over 14 assist.... and only 14 points.... and they still won. Sometimes Kobe do go off on his shooting drills, but I do see a change.

So far so good concerning Ron Artest... Hopefully, Ron can stay out of trouble and help with another titile. I think it helps with a coach like Phil Jackson... no tolerance for players that don't like to fit into the program. Ron played a excellent game agaist the Denver Nuggest last night and stopped Mr Anthony several times... that is why the lakers brought Artest aboard to defend star players.
