What do the Clippers do with Sam Cassell?

There is no denying what kind of affect Sam's had on his team, in not only getting them into the playoffs..but into the second round and almost the conference finals. It's no secret though that hes 67 years old, and he's gonna be looking for a big contract like he was the year previous after a good year when Minny wouldn't give him one.

Do the Clippers pay him? Or do they take a step back and let their dudes develop and use the MLE for help?

i think the clippers have to resign him..... probally a 2yr deal with a team option on the 3rd year

Shaun Livingston should be ready to take Sam's job in another season or 2

I agree, a two year deal just to give Livingston a little more time.

1 year 4 million? He's 36 years old. There's no way the Clippers give him a multi year deal.

He's agreed to that two times now according to false reports though so I dunno yet. Sounds like a slight bargain to me though...he's worth more then that...he's just old.
