Just something I was thinking about and was wondering if anyone minded having these.

First of all would be able to appeal rejected trades by the trade committee. You'll be able to explain the trade a little more and with the info you gave they'll re-rule on the trade that was proposed.

Secondly, sim league pickem. Just like NBA pickem but we choose the winners of sim match ups. We can probably work out a reward system for player points to the best performer of the month.

Just some ideas, if you have any ideas of your own you can post them here. If possible try for them to be something that most leagues don't have.

You guys can start things like that and write mock drafts, or power rankings or anything like that if you want to, just me and MM do it because no one else does and we feel like it keeps the league a little more active. I'm thinking about requiring each team to atleast write two articles per year.

I would love to write articles and mock draft and stuff, but I have a hard time keeping up with writing for school right now. Once it's over, you'll see a lot of in depth articles from myself.

Yeah, but also about the articles instead of everyone just writing them for the points we need to respond to other peoples articles. Because if not that section would be clustered up with a lot of articles but no one responding to them making people less likely to write one.

Just an idea. I notice there are player points for various reasons. But shouldn't there be one for regular season teams as a whole? Like top teams in conference get some points for doing well during the season.

And how about PPs bets? Put your money where your mouth is.

I will respond to peoples articles.

But requiring 2 articles a year is bad idea. Those who wanna do it just do it. Making us have to do it is not a good idea. Some people are busy, and just don't have as much time. I am in 5 leagues. So if we started to have to do the articles I would have to drop a few. But other then that I am doing fine keeping up with all 5 of the leagues so far.

1 season is like a month long, you can't tell me you can't take 5mins or so every 2 weeks to write 1 little article. It doesn't have to be long or anything just update us on your team. Some of us have no idea what direction you guys are going with your teams and what your plans are.

We don't want it cluttered up with useless articles either you know. People should be talking about the directions they are going in posts with their trades and in the sim posts.

i think that there should be more ways to earn more money. i think maybe you should include something like if a player gets a triple double, they earn $20 and if they get a double double, something like $5. or if they score 50+ points they get $5.

We can do something for like 20 rebs, 10 blocks, 12 assist, 50pts and triple doubles or something but not for double doubles, those happen too often.

thats another decent idea, but $20 is completely pointless lol. I mean you need like $20,000 to get even a minor upgrade to a player.
