v.s. 5. ![]() Phoenix won the season series 3-1, winning by an average of 16 points. Nash, Marion, Stoudemire vs Kidd, McGrady, Nowitizki. Sounds like an exciting matchup. They both had solid starting lineups and a decent bench. The Suns are an offensive team with a newly found defensive swagger and the Jazz are average on the offensive side ranking 12th in points per game and 9th in points allowed. I want to take an upset, but I don't see one here. Key Match Up - Steve Nash vs Jason Kidd Steve Nash had yet another M.V.P. type season, while Kidd was proved to be the M.V.P. to the Jazz. When he went down, so did they. Kidd is going to have to outplay Nash if the Jazz want to have any shot at winning. He can certainly do it, but will he? Prediction: Suns in 5 6. v.s. 7. ![]() The season series was tied 2-2, with the Lakers winning their games by an average of 15.5 points, and the Clippers winning by an average of 18 points. Wow, where do I start. The battle of Los Angeles is among us. One of these teams will continue their magically run while the other teams will come to an end. In the Lakers/Sonics series, every game they won, someone that's not named Kobe or Lamar stepped up. Key Match Up - Kobe Bryant vs Michael Redd Both players are asked a lot from their team each game, but they both have basically an even base of talent. So whomever wins this individual matchup will probably head into the Conference Finals. I think Kobe will out play Redd and the Lakers take this. Prediction: Lakers in 6

It should be a very fun series between the Jazz and the Suns but I just don't think anyone can stop Phoenix right now, I just don't see it happening. I got Phoenix in 6. And the battle of LA will be fun too, but I think Kobe will put up big numbers and get the Lakers past the Clippers.
