1. v.s. 8.
Phoenix won the season series 3-1, winning by an average of 12.3 points. Depsite the dissapointing season the Spurs find themselves in the playoffs. If there was ever a downside to being in the playoffs after having a horrible season, it's playing the Suns. The Suns have been on fire since the start of last season and carried all that momentum into this season, through the season into the playoffs. Does that momentum run out now?

Key Match Up - Amare Stoudemire vs Tim Duncan
There are plenty of good match-ups here but this has to be one of the most important ones. If Duncan can slow down Amare, the Spurs have a better of chance of winning. All Amare has to do is slow down Duncan and this should be an easy series for them. Yeah, it's that simple but hard to do.

Prediction: Suns in 7

2. v.s. 7.
Memphis won the season series 4-0, winning by an average of 13 points. I don't see the Clippers putting up much of a fight here. The Grizzlies are just too balanced, too defensive minded, too deep. I'll leave it at that.

Key Match Up - Rudy Gay vs Michael Redd
This is probably the only advantage the Clippers have over the Grizzlies, and it's not much of one. If the Clippers want to have any chance, they're going to have to exploit this match-up all series long.

Prediction: Grizzlies in 6

3. v.s. 6.
Season series was tied at 2-2. UPSET! This is my first round upset right here. Both of these teams love to score. Not much defense will be played and Kobe Bryant will probably set another league record in points in this series. Only reason I pick the Lakers is because they have more of a supporting cast than the Sonics.

Key Match Up - Ray Allen vs Kobe Bryant
They'll probably combined for 65+ points per game this series. I gave to give the advantage to Kobe, which is why I'm taking the Lakers also.

Prediction: Lakers in 7

4. v.s. 5.
Utah won the season series 3-1, winning by an average of 8 points. The Jazz are just a far more talented team right now. They could probably make a deep run if they get it together. The Twolves will need K.G. and Davis to be on there "A" game all series long if they want to have a chance.

Key Match Up - Ricky Davis vs Tracy McGrady
The winner of this series will probably have won this match up. T-Mac is a far more all around player and a better talent. Davis can keep up with McGrady on one of his best days (Davis) but I don't know if he can out duel him if it comes to that.

Prediction: Jazz in 6
