Dwight Howard for me is the best center in the league right now. Although he isn't as tall as Yao Ming or anything, he still has the flair, athleticism and strength that only very few centers possess.

not might. he is the best indeed. have you watched the competitve between yao and Howard? if you did, you will know that as a center, Yao is turly the best one.

Ok. Well I guess we arent watching the same games then. Because have you seen Howard play against yao? Im pretty sure Dwight MAN HANDELS yao under the rim because nobody is a match for him. With Dwight's size and strength you cant keep him away from the basket. And on defense, Dwight owns him and keeps yao away from the hoop and blocks him left and right. All yao has on him is a jump shot. But not right now cause guess who is playing and who isnt? Oh yeah, Dwight is. haha. But seriously, I believe dwight is the best center in the league without question no matter who is healthy. And remember, Dwight is only 24 years young. He has alot of learning to do still.

Yao is a very good skilled center. Yao can dunk, pass, shot, and play agressive when needed. He is big so running maybe a issue... but He can control the paint on the defensive and Offensive end. Houston will be good for years to come if Yao can stay healthy. I saw him agaist the Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. Yao is very impressive and Tall !

I agree that Howard is the best center in the NBA as of this moment. But Howard have problems with big strong centers like O'Neal. Howard athleticism allow him to get around stronger players. He can run the floor like no other center in the game. Once Howard work on his free throws which is a handicap for most centers ... he will be great. Hopefully, we will get to see who is the true Super Man in the playoffs.
