O'Bryant Likely To Avoid D-League

Mercury News - Patrick O'Bryant heard a rumor that he might be sent to the D-League in order to record more playing time, but that now appears unlikely.

``I heard those comments through the grapevine and I think that kind of clicked with me, that I needed to go harder to stay out of the D-League,'' O'Bryant said.

``We'll probably keep him with us,'' Don Nelson said. ``That guy can be really good. I just hope I see it before I die.''

I just hope I see it before I die!!! LOL. Nelson has a lot of rotation in his system, so he'll get a chance to play, lets see if he takes it.

Nothing like the threat of a demotion to motivate a player! I think having a bit of leverage is good. At this level you should always bring your "A" game!

He is a big player and can be a role player getting 8 ppg 6 rpg but he isnt going to play nelly ball
