Default Which is more likely to happen?

The Miami Heat who are 4-6 finish around .500 (41-41) or the Utah Jazz finish with at least 45 wins?

I don't know yet, Miami has lost their drive and hunger to win. They've lost to the Knicks by like 26, Houston by 22, Spurs by 20, and the Hornets by 15. I know Shaq is missing but that's no excuse to be getting blown out every game you play. Utah just doesn't quit, they're 10-1 I think, which is obviously tops in the NBA. They've had some ok wins vs the Pistons and Clippers.

Actually that's the perfect excuse in my opinion. Look what happened to the Lakers when Shaq left.

I think people try to downplay Shaq's precense and impact in a game too much. The man dominates. Even centers that are bigger than him so it's not just his size he has skill.

Shaq may not be the ultimate deciding factor in whether a team wins a championship or not but the past few years have proven that he is at least a major factor.

I know that missing Shaq is a lot to over come but there is no way in the world this team should be getting beat by 15+ points everytime they lose. He's still one of the top centers in this league but with players like Wade, Walker, Haslem, Zo, Posey, and Payton they shouldn't be getting blown out like that.

I agree, IMO they're using shaq as an excuse.

When Shaq is on your team, the sky is the limit. Actually the NBA championship is the limit but you get the idea.

I think Miami will rebound and get to .500 at least. They are 18 - 21 right now, and not too far off without Shaq. He'll only help things when he gets back, which shouldn't be too long...
