Most Overrated/Underrated Player

i think the most underrated player is michael redd. that man is a beast! he can shoot the Js and has got a sick stroke (no homo)

under: Ray Allen, how often did he save the celtic's butt and get no credit for it?!

over: Allen Iverson, as much as I love watching him when he goes on a scoring spree he should never be allowed to take as many shots as he does. He's a prime example of just what you can get away with if you do it in a confident manner. the fact that he also plays out his heart makes it tough on any coach to get on his back about his shot selection. any other player would have been benched years ago!

you cant really say that iverson is overated he is one all time greatest scorers in the game. 20th in alltime points and at the momment is 3rd all time for points per game.

ray allen, dirk nowitzki, t-mac, dwyane wade, carmelo. The league only has about 5 elite players, but since the nba has to market its players it makes good, above average, and decent players seem better than what they are.

You seriously think lamar odom is underrated??? He didn't do anything to help the Lakers in the post season... and he only shows small glimpses of great play. He's far too inconsistant to be rated any higher than he is. And he won't be able to show us otherwise as long as he stays on the same team as Kobe and Gasol.

There is no way Allen Iverson is overrated. He's always in the top ten at the end of the year in scoring... he's revolutionized the game with his crossover and penetration. His defensive prowess is UNDERRATED.... AND he wants to win more than anyone out there. If I had a guy on my team with the heart of AI... i'd let him shoot as much as he wants... he makes it half the time anyways.

iverson is higher on the alltime scoring list then kobe, is second in points per game in the playoffs under the all mighty MJ. Kobe=21

and has done that without a lot of the athletic abilitys that kobe has.

you cant argue the ring deal coz kobe has not won a ring without shaq.

mainly i just dont get how you can write three words and think you are contributing without explaining why you think he is overrated.

Underrated was Al Jefferson last season.

He didn't get enough credit for posting a 20 & 10 average.
