I've just finished watching their win over Golden State tonight, and I was wondering what would be different if Kobe Bryant were in the past two games. Would they have lost to at least one of these teams or would they even be better? Because right now, it seems that the Lakers are doing fine without Kobe, and Lamar is leading the team pretty well. What do you guys think about this?

Yeah I can't deny that Lamar has done a pretty good job.
But you're looking at it one-sided. Kobe is a great player and depending on how they use him he can only benefit them. What you're saying is like saying a regular person can do a great job at something but what if they had super powers? Would they do better or worse? Depends on how they use them right? Same thing with Kobe. You take a rgeat team and give them a super player and if they use him correctly he will benefit them and make this winning streak keep going.

I think they're sort of better off without Kobe because the offense is more open, instead of just one guy jackin up 30-40 shots a game. I think when Kobe does comeback he has to learn how to trust his teammates more and pass the damn ball a few times.

I think they are, b/c Kobe is a ballhog. He just makes it look like he is what makes the engine run, but in reality, he just runs the engine. Nash, on the other hand, is what makes the engine run. The way LA is playing w/o Kobe continues to validate why Nash deserved the MVP last year, and why he is my pre-season pick to win it again this year
