Why is Gilbert Arenas so underrated?

30 PPG and not voted into the All-Star? why? He had to be selected by David Stern. Why does everybody forget about this guy?

Nobody forgets about him, when you think of the Wizards you automatically think of him. The thing is that he is primarily JUST a scorer on a mediocre team. I think that if the Wizards were better he'd be in the All-Star game every year

I totally agree with you on this one. I was surprised when he wasn't an All-Star either. He's still sort of young and he's getting better every year. It's kinda hard to stand out against Lebron, Wade, etc., even though he's a great player. He'll get his day.

Because all of the guards selected were better than him last season. Arenas is a stat-hound. The dude gotta get out of the first round before I proclaim him anything better than JUST stat sheet guy.

He got Jamison an Butler who are both around 20ppg players..he should be able to win more with those guys you'd think.

I think he grew and matured a lot though after losing to them in the first round this year. Next year could be his year.

He's a PG, and it's not his job to score 30 PPG, so that really makes things weird. I think he needs to focus on getting more ast. averages. But mainly, it's about his position.
