Yao Ming Feeling 80-Percent , Likely To Appear With China

AP - Houston center Yao Ming says he is mostly recovered from a foot injury and is very likely to appear with China in this month's World Championship in Japan, a report said Wednesday.

"Now I am 80 percent OK," Yao was quoted as saying in an interview with the official newspaper China Daily.

"I think the recovery has been quite good and better than we expected," Yao said.

Umm if he's 80% the Rockets need to have a lil chat with him and tell him not to play in these things...

It would be bloody murder in China if Houston did not let him play. And he said he plans to grow a protest beard if the Chinese don't give him a good team in the 2008 Olympics.
