Does anybody think that a team will hire larry brown? I think that he should go and coach college basketball. I think that players in the nba have got to the point where they just don't want to hear anything that has to do with his methods. He is trying to teach his players and have TOTAL control over them. The only place he will have control over his players is college.
Any thoughts?

After all that has happened with him and the Pistons and New York I dont think is anyone is ready to hire him just yet. Maybe he does need to go back to coaching college basketball. Maybe thats whats best for him right now because obviously he isnt doing anything positive with the teams he was with. And he needs to build a better relationship with his players and stop arguing with them (example: he argued with Stephon Marbury for most of the season). Once he shows that he is ready for another coaching job in the NBA then maybe someone will hire him but not now.

I agree. I just think that his coaching style was never really for nba players anyway. I wouldn't use the pistons as an example because those were just a bunch of guys that everybody got rid of, and they just wanted to be successful. The nba is changing now. The players already have to deal with enough problems. (dress code) They don't need a coach that is talking about teamwork and little kid methods.

I don't really know. Lots of players have complained that Larry Brown wants things done a certian way, trying to restrict what they really can do. What he needs to do to be succesful at any level is let the players be themselves, and build on what they can do instead of trying to teach them all over again a different way.

If he wants to teach players all over thats why he should go to college. Because he is kind of coaching like he is trying make them a certain player, and he would have a better chance of doing that in college. Players in the nba have already decided what they want to do.

Exactly and that method for the nba as obvisoulsy failing. Honestly, I really don't think that the method as really been successful. Not even with the pistons. I mean first of all the pistons had a greattttttt team. Then all the top players on that team were just players that were trying to find a home. So I don't really count the success of the pistons, and we all see what went on in philly.

If I'm LB, I would take all the money and spend a whole lot of time with the wife. If you know what I mean.
