Why does the nba/david stern have everyone brain washed with this lebron garbage. All the commercials, shoes, shirts, etc. We all know that lebron is david stern's best market idea. So what does he do sell lebron as much as he can (even if that means cheating out other teams lol).

But to my point. Why does everybody think that lebron is better than everybody. Now i do think lebron is in the top 5, but i feel that t-mac is better, why? T-mac has never had any help he has had to carry his teams his whole career and he still shows up every season. Kobe, 81 and 62. What more needs to be said? This guy is veryyyyyyy underated but paul pierce. Nobody ever talks about paul but his rookie year 17 ppg and all rookie first team. Next season: 25.3 ppg. Year after that brought the franchise back to the eastern conference finals. Right when people thought that paul was slippin after a sub par 04-05 avg 22,7 and 6. He came back for the 05-06 season to put up career highs in points and fg percentage.


So people dont get brain washed by lebron there are players better than him.

People talked about Pierce and T-mac when they were younger. But as years went on and they never won anything their time started to fade away. The same will happen with Lebron in 5 years if he doesnt take his team to the finals.

No Superstar in the league gets a great team around him very much any more. Duncan probably has the 2 best sidekicks..and thats why he won. Wade had the best Sidekick in Shaq and thats why he won. Past that every other superstar is fighting with mediocore players as well.

David Stern is a genius. Without him the NBA would be struggling like the NHL. He saw the potential in marketing his business around the best players and it was clearly a resounding success.

As far as Lebron, STOP HATING.

The media isn?t hyping Lebron because they drew his name out of a hat and decided they would pimp Bron to the sheeple. None of those other cats mentioned in this thread were doing the things that Lebron is doing in their 3rd year in the league.

He?s an amazing talent and apparnelty has all the intangibles that make great athletes mega superstars.

And who has to listen to the media to learn how good Lebron is? Honestly when you watch him play, you don?t sit mouth agape amazed at the things he does as such a young player? The people who keep chirping about Lebron being ?overrated? or ?hype? are either:

B. Blind

It's the same case for lebron, but the sad part is it isn't lebron's fault. It's just that times have changed now. As soon as you graduate from college people are trying to get you to sign a shoe deal before the season has even started. Back then, only a handful of guys had shoes. Now since so many have different shoes people have to worry about selling, and that's the case with the nba today.
