you still 2-3 years away from competing man, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Moving in the right direction but no chance of competing.

With a healthy Tim Duncan I'd have to give the Spurs the edge next year, as long as they find theirselves a solid bigman.

I disagree. If the pistons can find a strong big man to fill Ben's spot then I think they can win it again.

Yea, I still think we're (Pistons) pretty good. We lost our heart and soul but I think we saw him wearing down alittle anyway. It's not as big of a loss as everyone makes it out to be.

I definitely agree with you on that note. The guy couldn't even make a freethrow.

Yea, that was killin me. I mean wow, I know I've seen him airball FT's before but that was just too much. It was painful to watch. Plus, his D just wasn't as dominant as it used to be. I mean ppl were scoring in the paint at will and we may have been a jumpshooting team but his lack of offensive ability was killin us. It's not that big of a loss. I'm just gonna miss the gong and the fro. :(

Yea but at least now Antonio McDyees will have a chance at getting a starting spot and that is someone that can really score. We could use his offensive game in the starting lineup.

Yea I know. He was a double double everytime he started for us. And best belive those points were coming around the basket. As much as I'd love that, don't you think that'd take away our depth? I mean that's been our biggest problem all along, don't you'd think that'd only make things worse??

BTW, you're a Pistons fan??

I think the Mavs have a chance at winning it all.

The Mavericks are a championship caliber team but after they lost 4 in a row after making such a great run at the title, I dont think they will be able to recover from that so easily. They may win one but it wont be next year. I give them maybe 2 or 3 years until they make it back to the championship.

Ben's free throw shooting was flat out unacceptable. I just want to know a guy with all those muscles.. airballing?, a freethrow???!!!! I dont think that mcdyess will be starting next year. He said he didnt start, plus i dont really think that he is a starter. I like how he brings that energy off the bench. We would also have a too small of a starting lineup. Now i know you may say ben and mcdyess are the same height, but ben plays bigger than mcdyess.

Ben does play bigger than McDyess on the defensive end but on the offensive end there is no question that McDyess is better than Ben. If you give him the oppurtunity than I am sure he will make the most of it as a starter. Ben is gone and there is nothing you can do about it so move forward and think about the future. Use this oppurtunity to develop McDyess because you are going to need him in the future.

Mc Dice is a very talented basketball player. Only thing limiting him, is his knee..
That's why starting him and giving him starter minutes, would be too risky.
As far as I know, this is the main reason that he does not want to be a starter.
