You got Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Greg Popovich, and Larry Brown as the main vets who have won a title..or lots of them...one of them being unemploed
.You have new up and comers of D'Antoni, Skiles, Mike Brown and Avery Johnson. Then you have other possible candidates such as Rick Carlisle and George Karl. I may have forgot a name, but anything past those guys and you get into junk for the most part. Whom do you think is the best coach in the league? It's kind of a tough question that could go many ways. I know if I was building a team..I'd take Avery Johnson as my coach to build a team with.

Phil Jackson has to be there. He's got 11 rings (2 as a player, 9 as a coach), and he got the Lakers to the playoffs with a very bad team.
Scott Skiles is also another good coach, and he's the man to get us over the top and run the next dynasty. |

Combs did you listen to Stoney and Wojo yesterday? Cause they had the same question/discussion only in the past 25 years.
