unnecessary, overreaction.. I felt sorry for the reporter.

I like Avery Johnson and his abilities but sometimes he is too aggressive.

He was just pissed off. And rightfully so. It's the biggest game in the Mavs history..Winner got the lead in he series...and the loser is facing elimination.

It's one of the worst calls I have ever seen in any professional level because it meant so much.

I am not questioning the reason behind that. He is right or not.. IMO, he should't have reacted like that as an professional. It doesnt look professional and good.

i saw that press conference last night it was pretty funny. about the call, when it actually happened it looked like dirk gave wade a good push in the back and that howard (or terry) got him across the arms. that's why I understand the call, somewhat. but we have the luxury of seeing the play from every angle umpteen times, and that revealed that there was very minimal contact. i wish Barkely could have given his 2 cents on this one.

^^I've seen worse contact than that. How many times have we seen refs let things go in a tight game before? They even do tyhat in the regs season. Don't even try to defend the refs there.

That was pretty funny actually. I think the refs have some sort of conspiracy to fix this series in the Heat's favor.

Of course they do..they love the Heat. Hate the Mavs because of Cuban. The Mavs seem to be turning on the Reporters and press now with Cuban and Avery attacking them for stupid questions.

Oh how great of a story it will be for the Shaq man and the young Jordan to win a title . It's disgusting.

I am very suprized that Cuban hasn't done anything yet about the calls. Maybe it's because of being quite new experience for him ( being at finals)
:P

Okay people are overreacting to this call WAY too much. Sure it was a little bit of a bad call. How about the rest of the game? The officiating was giving everything to Dirk. I saw 2 charges on him they called blocks and I mean they were CLEAR charges. They call crap fouls on Shaq all the time...please people shut up about the call its getting tired of being heard. Than it was HOWARD and JOHNSONS fault with the timeout. AVERY JOHNSON: I dont care what situation your in, never and I said NEVER put your hands in the formation of a T if you dont want the timeout. Call one of your players to the side and tell him you want the time out. He confused Howard who asked for the timeout TWICE. Its both their faults and I think that everything in this game played out the way it should have. Bad call for Bad call.

oh and as for the reporter...cmon you deserved to be made to look stupid. Never pour salt in a mans wounds or kick him while hes down. IT MAKES YOU SOUND IGNORANT!

Who cares about the timeout. That's different and at least the refs had some type of leg to stand on with that one.

Obviously there are bad calls in every game. If we complained about everyone of them, we'd be here all day. Look how many times the Heat got to the line though. You CANNOT make that call with 2 seconds left in a Game 5 of the NBA Finals to give the other team the win. It wasn't a foul in the first place. And even if it was..you still don't blow the whistle. It's been 1100+ games this season for these guys..all the work that goes into it and in the off-season. Why should this stupid call decide who wins the title? Wade knew what he was doing. He knew he was going to get the call..for the simple fact that his name is Dwayne Wade.

NBA Officiating is ruining the game..and I am sick of it. Cuban has been right all along and if the NBA doesn't fix this soon..we're gonna have big time problems.

ok..
Avery is a professional, he has to control his anger, emotions.
He simply killed the reporter.
As I said before it doesn't matter if Avery is right or not, . He has to bear and handle such stiuations professionally, IMO.

Im sorry I dont agree. Dirk gets more calls than Wade. Count the number of wrong called fouls next game for each player. I AM WILLING TO BET that Dirk gets more calls for him that are incorrect. The Heat deserve this title.

Never again. Never say Mark Cuban is right. This guy is a total jerk and makes a mockery of the league with some of his actions.
