10. Tim Duncan
04/05 Duncan is #2. 05/06 Duncan isn't close to this list. Not sure which one he really is, so we'll put him here. 9. Shaquille O'Neal Should be higher, but has to be taken out of basketball games in the last 2 minutes. Lucky to be on this list based on that alone. 8. Kevin Garnett As talented as anyone on this list, but his team needs to win more big games to get higher. 7. Elton Brand Most under-appreciated player in the game. 6. Dwyane Wade Would be #4 if he spelled his name right and/or didn't eliminate my team from the playoffs. 5. Gilbert Arenas Basket for basket with Lebron in their series. 4. Steve Nash Best passer since Stockton. It's funny how 2, 3, and 4 are average defenders at best. 3. Lebron James Maybe he'd have a more fluid J if his hands weren't full of hang-nails from biting the fucking things all day long. 2. Dirk Nowitzki If he were 6'7 or 6'8, he wouldn't be close to this high, but at 7'0 he's pretty much unguardable. 1. Kobe Bryant It's funny how everyone talks about Lebron and seems to forget about Kobe. Kobe might be a better scoring swingman than Jordan. What's your top 10?

10. Shaquille O'neal: Getting older and numbers slumping a little, but you can always depend on the Diesel down low.
9. Allen Iverson: Nothing around him, but we all know hes an extremely talented player who can explode at any moment. ive seen him live and we was amazing to watch up close. 8. Steve Nash: As much as I cant stand him...he dominates the game with his passing. 7. Kevin Garnett: May have his one way ticket out of Minny...look for him to shine somewhere else. 6. Paul Pierce: is the commander of a young squad. the future is very bright for this young team and their all-star captain. 5. Chauncy Billups: Runs one of the top teams in the league. Not sure if hes the only reason he's so good, but he makes the team operate like a true machine. 4. Dirk Nowitzki: Has a good team around him with players like Jason Terry and Jerry Stackhouse...but he is the go to player in crunch time. A 7 footer who has the moves of a guard, unstoppable. 3. Kobe Bryant: MOST DOMINANT PLAYER IN THE NBA...only bad thing is hes the only player he incorporates in the game. My reason why he isnt number one. 2. Dwayne Wade: In the NBA Finals after making it to the East finals last year. He has been making big play after big play and leading the Miami Heat to their first NBA Finals appearance. 1. LeBron James: what else can I say about this kid? He has nothing around him to make him better...but he makes mediocre at best players look brilliant. He lead his team to a game 7 against the Detroit Pistons and this kid has such a bright future.

Anyone with Tracy McGrady on their list above Arenas, and/or not having Arenas on their list at all, is dumb.

10. Kevin Garnett - Tons of talent, just can't seem to find a way to win games with it, which is what counts the most. Great rebounder, can get a buket at anytime he wants..should take control more often.
9. Allen Iverson - Just a pure scorer, and he has to be on any top 10 list for that reason alone. he's not as good as a defender as he used to be but is still good for a few steals every game. 8. Paul Pierce - Paul Pierce has evolved into a BIG TIME player before our very eyes and it goes unrecognized a lot of the time. He passes, rebounds, scores, plays solid defense. I'd take him on my team any day of the week. 7. Steve Nash - Has a killer jumper, great game intelligence and the definition of a leader. Needs to play better defense, and be more consistent offensively besides distributing the ball. 6. Tim Duncan - past the injuries this year, Duncan is in the top 3 and it's a nobrainer. He is a quiet assassin and just wins. Great defender, great mid range game, can get to the hoop..can do it all. 5. Elton Brand - Great player, and does very similar things to Duncan...was just healthy the entire year. 4. Dirk Nowitzki - He's got the prettiest jumper in the entire league. he's got the ability of a guard to take it to the rim, even though hes a 7-footer. His defense is getting much much better, and I believe he makes the guys around him better as good as anybody in the league. 3. Dwayne Wade - I hate him, and hes the biggest whiner in the entire league but I respect his game. His jumpshot has drastically improved since last year. If he keeps at it, he's going to have a handful of rings. 2. Lebron James - Lebron James isn't god like everybody thinks he is, but he's a damn good basketball player, especially when you consider his age. He's built like a freak. Improving his defensive game is a must, and possibly cutting down on the traveling... ;) 1. Kobe Bryant - Best player in the NBA on both sides of the ball. As good as it gets scoring the basketball. comes through in the clutch. Can rebound and pass the ball. Get him another dude to run with and he can win the west for the Lakers. Sorry Mob, no Arenas. No way he makes the list over the players on this list.

1. Kobe Bryant: He's the best player, IMO, because he can score at will. He can drain threes, drive, and make fade away shots. He's also the clutchest player in the NBA, and he's great defensively (when he wants to). I think the only part of his game that can improve is his playmaking ability.
2. Steve Nash: He 2-time reigning MVP, he's the best PG in the league right now. He can turn sub par players into All-Stars. He has amazing vision, and got the Amare-less Suns to the playoffs with the 2nd seed. He's not only a passer, he can shoot the rock as well, he's got one of the purest shots in the league right now. 3. LeBron James: A great player right now, and the amazing thing about him is he's so young. He can do everything, pass, shoot, defend (although he can still improve on), and make spectacular dunks. He's a very gifted player, and when it's all said and done, I think he'll be one of the best players of all-time. 4. Dwayne Wade: A great young player too, although he doesn't have the playmaking ability that King James has, he makes up for it with his clutch plays. And he's a good defender, and already a great shooter. 5. Tim Duncan: Mr. Fundamental, he perfects inside scoring and probably has the highest basketball IQ. A very smart player that doesn't do anything flashy, but can get the job done. He's a proven winner. 6. Dirk Nowitzki: Showed that he can lead the Mavericks this year, and he can play defense. He's added more inside game to his skills thanks to Avery Johnson, and is the best 7 foot shooter on the planet. Can make clutch shots as well. 7. Kevin Garnett: Has gotten ignored because of his team's performance, but he's still one of the best players in the league. Monstrous rebounder and great offensively and defensively. 8. Allen Iverson: The toughest player in the NBA. He's an offensive machine with one of the best crossovers in the league. Great heart and desire, he can also play great defense. 9. Elton Brand: Played like a MVP this season, leading the Clippers to the 2nd round of the playoffs. Can get a double-double every given game, and is always consistent. 10. Paul Peirce: Not getting much notice because he's on the Celtics, but is doing extremely well, and is very clutch player. He can do a lot of things, pass, rebound, shoot, and defend.

I'm not understanding how everyone can rank Duncan so high after what we seen from him this past season. We're not even sure who Tim Duncan is anymore.
I also don't understand the logic of people placing McGrady, Pierce, or even Iverson above Arenas. I'm a huge Pierce and Iverson fan, but i still don't see them being better than Arenas. Not what we seen last season. Last season, when Arenas was on, he was hitting 60, 70% of his field goals. A hot Gilbert Arenas looked like the best player in the league. Flat out. We're talking about top 10 today, not from what guys have done in their careers. And on that note, Mcgrady hasn't done shit except put up flashy numbers on scrubby teams.

Mobruler, if you could have one player on your team..you'd honestly take Arenas of Duncan or Pierce? Over Wade or Brand? How.
