O'Neal, Heat fined after he skips postgame interview
June 12, 2006

DALLAS (AP) -- Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal was fined $10,000, and the team an additional $25,000, after he did not make himself available for interviews after Sunday night Game 2 of the NBA finals.

O'Neal had a career playoff-low five points on 2-for-5 shooting in the 99-85 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The Heat are down 0-2 hole heading to Tuesday's Game 3 in South Florida.

The NBA announced the fines about an hour after the game ended.

Yea he's a little baby when he loses and plays bad. I guess he can't face the Heat. Before the series I saw some kind of conflict happening. I am hoping he's po'd about not getting enough touches and the team starts to crumble .

hes getting enough touches he just waits for the double team (dirk takes like 4 seconds to get there) and then shaq gives the ball to walker who bricks a three

I think he did a wise move. He's emotional and if he said anything bad against the officiating or against the other team, he might get a bigger fine.
