I was just watching them on ESPN Classic. Brought back some good memories. Has there been a finals more thrilling than those 2? Jordan asking Steve Kerr to hit the winning shot in the 97 Finals, Jordan's winning shot over Russell in 98. I haven't seen a Finals more thrilling than those.

I don't wanna sound like a homer but last year's Finals were pretty exciting after game 4. HOU vs NYK in 94' was awesome to watch. 7 games and each game was close in the final minutes. I've only seen a few of those games on NBA TV and ESPN Classic and read about them on NBA history's page but they were fun to watch as an NBA fan.

I think a lot of what made those 2 more thrilling to me was b/c one I'm a Bulls fan, and two, maybe the main reason is b/c of all the hype, would this be it for Michael and Phil?
Jerry Riensdorf is a total fag for ordering Jerry Krause to break the team up and only keep the guys who were under contract past 1998 ![]() |

I love watching old games but not back when they had the short shorts and stuff. Earlier I was watching the 1999 finals with Spurs and Knicks, the 2000 Finals with Lakers and Pacers, 2001 finals with Lakers and 76ers and now im watching 2003 finals with Spurs and Nets.

They were both great years. I could watch Jordan play all day long, That Russell shot will go down as one of the greatest shots of all time though.
