Rob Parker has reported that Terry Porter is expected to join the Pistons coaching staff as an assistant coach. He would be replacing Sidney Lowe who left to take his dream job as head coach of North Carolina State. Expect an official announcement soon.

Also as far as free agency goes, many people have been buzzing about Bonzi Wells over the past couple of years. Well the Pistons are realistically targeting Wells. He would add much needed firepower off the bench (especially during the playoffs if he plays like he did this season). The Pistons are also said to be looking at Grant Hill and Jalen Rose. Hill would LOVE to come back to the Pistons in a supporting role but would need to be bought out by the Magic. The move would also move Hill's wife closer to her family in Windsor. Jalen Rose would need his 16.9 million dollar contract bought out by the Knicks. Dumars cant speak out about Rose and Hill because they are both still under contract by their respective teams. Should be an interesting offseason!

Bonzi averaged 13.6 points and 7 rebounds a game off the bench this past year in the regular season then during the playoffs averaged 23 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.... I think i'll take those numbers for a thug!
