As much as it pains me to admit it because I am a huge lakers fan does anyone think the Celts can win over 70 games. At this point it looks quite possible. They are just a few wins shy of the "96" Bulls record before the all-star break when they won 72 games.

Hopefully they'll get there. For whatever reason Boston has been one of my favorite teams all year and maybe I just really want the Pistons really out of the title scene but yea. It wouldn't suprise me at all but its alot harder to win 70 games in today's NBA than it was in 96...alot harder. With that said its not like the Celtics have had a year to gel (like the bulls did) before there dominance started. Keeping this pace is probably the hardest thing to do especially for them because of their inexperience. I'm definetly rooting for them though.

Not a chance. Even though the East is getting weaker by the minute, it is just too much. They are excellent but just not in that category. 65 is about right and they will mow thru the East.

There good, and when KG comes back in full force they're just gonna keep rolling in the wins. They should break the record. The NBA isn't full of the great players anymore. With Jordan you had Malone, Barkley, Robinson, Ewing, Stockton. All the greats from my childhood and all Hall-o-Famers.

I think they can have 70 wins this season or more because they are still undefeated against the western teams. If KG and the rest of the crew are all healthy during the season they will win a whole lot of regular games.
