No shot Lebron, how do you sit out 5 games with a finger injury? I think Howard deserves MVP have you seen what this kid does? He is a mirror image of what Shaq was before he got fat. Or, you can never go wrong with picking Steve Nash, that man does shit no one else can. No one passes the ball around the court like he does, and leads a team the way he does.

I'd go with Dwight Howard too. I cant see his team being anywhere near where they are right now with out him!

Nash deserved it last year and at the end of this year will probably deserve it again. Lebron won't get it because his team is pathetic and the front office of the Cavs won't help him out any. You can't miss the playoffs and win the MVP. Dwight Howard will win it if the Magic become a top 3 seed in the east.
My hope, is for Mr. Roy, that's Brandon Roy. WIll never happen in this small northwest market, but he was sole reason they just won 13 straight.

I would say LeBron James to this point in the season. Although MVP has nothing to do with individual performance it has to do with the team. How crazy is that. It should be called MVT(most valuable team). He will not win it if he has the greatest season ever. Look at Kobe Bryant last year. He was clearly the best player in the league and they gave it to Dirk.
P.S. Dallas lost in the playoffs in the first round just as the lakers did. |

If cleveland can get a decent record before april then LeBron definetly is a canidate...probably not this year though.
Dwight Howard has been my MVP for these first couple months cos the dude's a double double machine and is only 21. On the other hand guys like Garnett & Kobe have both tremendously helped their respective teams this year as well. Its pretty tight this season so it should be a good race. btw I thought stevie nash really deserved it again last year and if phx stays in first place until the playoffs....that'll be my final choice. |

I agree with people saying Nash actually deserved it last year and is playing just as well, if not better, this year. I also agree that Garnett and Howard are fantastic. Still, Lebron James is just too amazing this year. I haven't seen anyone play like him since the Jordan days.
