Chris Paul should've got it. Kobe got a lifetime achievement award not a season mvp award. Kobe was known as the Terrel Owens of basketball and for the 1st time became more approachable to interviews and sports writers.
Sports Writers being the one who vote for the MVP.

His PR work with the media the public and his team got him the award.
Lakers need better defense.

Lebron is the best player but he is not going to win it this year. Kobe could go for a repeat or chris paul can steal the show again but after watching usa basketball, I like wade winning MVP

Wade is looking real good and much stronger, but he is my favorite player so I cant say much. With that being said I doubt D-Wade will ever be season MVP.

No doubt about it Kevin Garnett. He's going to be a completly new player this year with that monkey off his back. I expect his intensity to still be way up there, but now that he's got a ring it might not be at a level where he's too hyped!
